I am inspired by the world around us, pop culture, history, emotions, connections.  I believe choreography and music should be a complete marriage and not just a combo of 8 counts.  The movement, music, concept, feeling should all live together and be unique.  Sometimes a piece of music will inspire me to create something or sometimes a situation or story will inspire me to find the music.  Choreography is not about tricks it is about designing and creating movement.  Painting an image using bodies and space.  The word Choreography literally means "dance writing".  I love writing stories that dancers can relate to and audiences can read.  Each piece I create I try to make the dancer (s) look their best at what ever level that they are at.
